EIA: US On-Highway Diesel Retail Price Marks 8-Week High
OAKHURST, N.J. (DTN) --- Energy Information Administration data show the
U.S. average on-highway diesel fuel price increased a fourth straight week,
rising 4.7cts to a seven-week high $3.631 gallon as Monday (10/14), 81.3cts
below the same week in 2023.
DTN's national diesel fuel rack rose nearly 3.75cts on the week to $2.4898
gallon as of Monday afternoon.
EIA data show price gains across the major PADDs, with the Gulf Coast PADD 3
registering the sharpest weekly increase. At $3.337 gallon, the PADD 3 price
surged 7.1cts to an eight-week high.
The Midwest PADD 3 on-highway diesel price jumped 6.4cts to an eight-week
high $3.651 gallon while the Rocky Mountain PADD 4 price added 1.5cts to $3.635
gallon, an eight-week high.
Data show the West Coast PADD 5 price climbed 1.3cts to $4.274 gallon, a
six-week high, and the East Coast PADD 1 price rose 2.3cts to $3.586 gallon, a
five-week high.
