EIA: Domestic Propane/Propylene Stocks Fell 1% Last Week
OAKHURST, N.J. (DTN) --- The Energy Information Administration reports total
domestic propane/propylene stocks of 100.509 million bbl in the week ending
Nov. 1, down 1.021 million bbl week-on-week and 2.061 million bbl, or 2.1%
higher than in the same week last year.
Data show propane/propylene exports last week averaged 2.289 million bpd, up
711,000 bpd week-on-week and 536,000 bpd, or 23.4%, higher than in the same
week last year.
Implied demand for propane/propylene in the United States averaged 710,000
bpd, down 600,000 bpd week-on-week and 581,000 bpd, or 81.8% lower than in the
same week last year.
EIA reports domestic propane/propylene production averaged 2.743 million
bpd, down 11,000 bpd week-on-week and 177,000 bpd, or 6.5% higher than in the
same week last year.
East Coast PADD 1 inventories ended the week at 8.406 million bbl, up
690,000 bbl week-on-week and 936,000 bbl, or 11.1% lower than in the same week
last year.
Midwest PADD 2 inventories ended the week at 28.904 million bbl, up 209,000
bbl week-on-week and 2.125 million bbl, or 7.4% higher than in the same week
last year.
Gulf Coast PADD 3 inventories ended the week at 57.086 million bbl, down
1.786 million bbl week-on-week and 706,000 bbl, or 1.2% higher than in the same
week last year.
Combined inventories in the Rockies and the West Coast, PADD 4 and 5, ended
the week at 6.114 million bbl, down 132,000 bbl week-on-week and 168,000 bbl,
or 2.7% higher than in the same week last year.
